As this years President of the Hantsport & District Lions Club, I would like to welcome you to our web page. Being members of Lions Clubs International, the largest service club organization in the world, is something that we are proud of. Our commitment to " WE SERVE " enables us to help those in the community who are less fortunate than ourselves. Whether it be fund raising projects or service activities, we give our time freely with the knowledge that our efforts will benefit others in need.
Nearly 1,400,000 men and women throughout the world are members of Lions Clubs International. We are positive service minded people who have volunteered our time and energy to help those in need, at the same time we enjoy a good social life and have developed friendships with Lions throughout the world that have the same aim as ourselves. Our language may differ, but our purpose is the same--- to serve those in need. The reasons for membership are many and varied. If you can give a little of your spare time:
* Enjoy serving the community * Enjoy meeting people * Enjoy making new friends * Enjoy helping those who are less fortunate than yourself
Why not consider joining us. There are no special skills required. You do not have to be in any particular age group except be of legal age or of any particular standing in the community. We are always looking for prospective new members and if you would like more information on our organization or club please browse the rest of our web site or feel free to contact any Lions member.
Please take the time to sign our guestbook. We welcome your questions and comments.
Yours in Lionism
Lion Dallas Moore President

The Hantsport & District Lions Club participates in the LIONS RECYCLE FOR SIGHT PROGRAM. Lions all over the world collect USED EYEGLASSES which are distributed to those in need in developing nations throughout the world. Help give the gift of sight. For some person living in a developing country, used eyeglasses will put the world in focus, maybe for the first time. Don't throw away someone's chance for a clearer tomorrow. RECYCLE your USED EYEGLASSES by contacting any member of your local Lions Club.
